Chengdu-Nanchong Expressway Traffic and Revenue Analysis

The project road starts in Chengdu and passed through 11 cities, which is the main east-west corridor connecting Chengdu and Nanchong. The total length of the project road is 215km, with one way 3 or 4 lanes, and the design speed is 100km/h
Study purpose: Predict the annual average daily traffic volume and annual toll revenue, and analyze the maintenance and operating expenses, as a reference for client’s decision-making and IPO (initial public offering).
Research tasks: data collection, reviewing the information of the region around the project road, OD survey, building traffic model, economic analysis, traffic volume and toll revenue analysis, transportation, maintenance expense analysis

Forecasting Model development, estimation of base year traffic demand
Assessment of socio-economic condition
Traffic flow and toll revenue forecast for future years
Forecast the operating and maintenance cost during franchise period
Produce highway engineering design evaluation
